Chile – Martin Pescador Lodge – Limited Prime Dates Available

New additions for the 2016 / 2017 season

Martin Pescador Lodge’s one week, two lodge departure has long been the epicenter of Chilean trout fishing for Frontiers travelers. The diverse waters, extraordinary cuisine and welcoming familiarity of the hosts and owners, Frans and Anna Jansen, have cultivated an almost cult like repeat of guests.

However, the sought after Saturday to Saturday program is not the only diamond in this trout rich region from the Jansen’s. Well to the east of their lowland lodges in a valley approaching the Argentine border sits a glass green lake appropriately named Lago Verde. Overlooking the lake on a high bluff sits the Martin Pescador Lago Verde Lodge. The lodge features a remarkable and unique add-on or stand-alone opportunity for anglers to experience even more original rivers, creeks and lakes in a small intimate setting hosted by the tenured Martin Pescador staff and guides.

New for the 2017 season: Martin Pescador has made an ample capital investment in their experience replacing the former custom walled tents with lake front cabins. Each are built with indigenous timber and offer private ensuite bathrooms. From the nearly one mile of private lakefront, guests will depart by boat each morning to float and walk / wade Lago Verde, Rio Claro, Rio Pico and Rio Precioso — just to name a few of the pristine water systems. The Lago Verde program is commonly added to the lodge program at the end of anglers stay culminating a fantastic ten days of fishing.

There are limited prime 2017 fishing dates in January, February and March at Martin Pescador.
