In the outermost remote reaches of Northern Patagonia, one can experiment just how far away from civilization they are by merely walking into the Estancia yard and gazing at the sky. Unfettered by manmade lights and magnified by the clear cool air of the Andes, the constellations seem an arm’s length away and the next person a million miles away. This is the blessing of Patagonia. Barry and Cathy Beck invite you to join them with an intimate group of four clients on a six night stay on the estancia. They will be situated in the Headquarters, the most historic of the Tecka buildings.
Fishing with floating lines and dry flies is the standard at Tecka. You will encounter two major and unique rivers during their stay – and many tributaries and creeks - drifting the larger Corcovado River and walking and wade stalking the ranch’s namesake, the Tecka River.
Guests will be tucked away at the historic Headquarters Lodge, which is just steps away from casting on the Tecka River. The lodge features four spacious bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, hosting up to eight guests comfortably.
Fishing Package: $5,700 per person, based on shared room/guide. Contact Frontiers for additional details.
Estancia Tecka is approximately 2 hours from Esquel and is accessed via Buenos Aires, Argentina or by border crossing from Chile, if a combination is of interest. Flights are limited and overnight in Buenos Aires may be required. Wi-Fi is available on a limited broadband scale.
