The program emphasizes dry fly fishing, and the gin-clear waters that flow in the area allow for some excellent sight fishing in both moving and calm water. Fishermen floating on the larger rivers, such as the Rio Simpson and the Rio Paloma, will fish in rubber rafts equipped with two individual swiveled seats. There are plenty of smaller rivers and streams that can waded and explored with a fishing guide.
The region has good insect hatches and dry fly purists will have ample opportunity to target the rising brown and rainbow trout. Nymphs and streamers are also productive and should not be overlooked.
