King Pacific Lodge - Overview

Location: Canada - British Columbia - Barnard Harbour on Princess Royal Island (56 miles south of Prince Rupert)

Season: June-September

Capacity: 30 guests

King Pacific Lodge is moored in the shelter of Barnard Harbour on Princess Royal Island. It is located on the north coast of British Columbia, 56 miles south of Prince Rupert, the nearest town and the "gateway city." The southern tip of the Alaska panhandle is located just north of Prince Rupert; this area has been home to the Tsimshian people for over 10,000 years and evidence of their history and culture are everywhere. The nearest Tsimshian settlement is just across Douglas Channel, 45 minutes from the lodge by boat. King Pacific Lodge, uniquely built on a barge, is simply the most luxurious wilderness lodge ever. Situated literally hundreds of miles from civilization, this floating facility has definitely caught the attention of anglers and nonanglers alike.
