Located in the northwest corner of the state near the town of Libby, the breathtaking Kootenai is Linehan's home river. Full of rainbow and cutthroat trout, the Kootenai is consider primarily a dry fly river. Guests have the option of two types of accommodations: log cabins in nearby Yaak or the spacious Kootenai River House near Libby that can accommodate up to six anglers comfortably. If floating the prolific Kootenai is not enough to satiate the hungriest of anglers, the Yaak and Clark Fork are also part of Tim and Joanne Linehan's fishing lineup. This is one of the best-kept secrets in Montana.
