How To Get There
Helsinki, Finland, easily accessed from the U.S. and most European capitals by safe and reliable Finnair's nonstop service and then to the Kola Peninsula, where the entry point into Russia is Murmansk. Our reliable representatives handle all ground services in both Helsinki and Murmansk. After clearing customs, you are flown directly to the Ryabaga Camp, named after the tributary that enters Ponoi at the campsite, by a big, twin jet-powered, MI-8 helicopter. The same equipment and crews have been assigned to our operation each year, and the pilots and mechanics recognize the high safety standards expected by the Ponoi River Company and their guests. As a full-service IATA/ATOL travel company with 42 years' experience, Frontiers will coordinate air schedules ticketing, all en route accommodations, visa processing to meet your travel objectives and sightseeing extensions in Russia, Finland or elsewhere in Europe.
