Fly fishing for large brown trout in crystal clear mountain streams is a great challenge. Depending on conditions in our waters, dry flies or nymphs are used. Polarized glasses are a must for spotting. The rivers in our area are recognized for their large trophy brown trout (often weighing over 10 lbs) with the average fish well over 5 lbs. Riverview Lodge employs highly competent fly fishing guides led by head guide Jim Bratschi, and they each have years of experience in the local rivers and have found many trophy sized fish for guests.
