In 2009, the average guide cost per day for two rods is 320 euros, which includes possible fishing from sunrise to sunset and transportation in your guide's vehicle. Licenses will be purchased on site by your guide and range from 30 to 100 euros per person/day, depending on the river. Equipment rental, optional gratuities, meals and accommodations are additional. Frontiers' experienced staff can orchestrate all arrangements on your behalf, tailored to your preferences to ensure that you have the best possible holiday. Presently lacking a proper lodge, the Slovenian fishing experience is a highly customized one, and accommodations range from family run B&Bs to 4-star lakeside villas. Ideally, 3-5 days of fishing should be combined with 3-4 days spent exploring this diverse country's abundant attractions, including stunning Alpine scenery, charming medieval towns, incredible caves and intriguing wines.
With scenery to rival New Zealand or Patagonia and a service-oriented, English-speaking guide team that ‘knows every bend and stone' and includes perhaps the most experienced anglers in the country, a Frontiers fishing holiday in Slovenia is sure to exceed your expectations and frequently ranks among ‘one of the best experiences on the water' by returning anglers. Several thorough staff visits in the past five years give Frontiers the distinction of being uniquely well-versed in the sporting and leisure attractions of this diverse nation, and we look forward to putting our travel expertise to work for you.
