Location: Canada - Sustut River, north-central British Columbia
Season: August-October
Capacity: 9 guests at each lodge
Both Steelhead Valhalla Lodge and Suskeena Lodge are under the ownership and management of Sweetwater Travel. These lodges are remotely located along the banks of the Sustut River upstream of the Sustut's confluence with the Skeena River, famed as the most productive trophy steelhead river in the world. Because it is located more than 100 miles from civilization and accessible only by plane, the Sustut is the least fished of all the famous Skeena tributaries. The river originates with the Johansen and Sustut Lakes in the Omineca Mountains, and the Pacific Ocean lies about 275 miles downstream of the confluence.
While fishing for great steelhead, you'll also have the opportunity to enjoy seeing eagles, moose, bears and everything that British Columbia's beauty has to offer. The scenery is simply unbelievable, and every trip on the river offers vistas both breathtaking and unique.
