The Midfjardara - Overview

The Midfjardara is located in the north of Iceland, some three hours drive from the capital Reykjavik. Known in Iceland as "The Queen of the Rivers" this stunning river with its gin-clear water has over 200 named pools, and with only ten rods that rotate over five beats it is hard not to feel that you have this cracking river to yourself.

The lodge has 10 bedrooms with en suite facilities, so a full rod will ensure a private room. Also featured is a dining room, lounge, bar, wader room and outside Jacuzzi for those that want to unwind at the end of the day.
