Just upstream from its sister lodge, Kau Tapen, near the Chilean/Argentine border, perched high on a bluff overlooking the upper Rio Grande is Toon Ken. Established in 1997, this lodge accesses the river where the grade is steeper and long riffles transform into prime shadowed pools and undercut banks - classic holding water for the massive Rio Grande sea-run brown trout.
