Documents Required
U.S. citizens traveling by air to and from Panama need only a valid passport and $5 tourist card when entering or re-entering the United States. Tourist cards may be bought at the airline counter at the time of departure. A tourist card gives you an automatic 30-day stay and is extendable for another 60 days.

Panamanian law requires that all travelers present a passport valid for at least three months after the last day of your departure. If your passport expires before then, please renew it right away  A valid passport but not a visa is required for citizens of the U.K. and Canada. Australian citizens need both a passport and visa. Panamanian law requires that non-visa travelers must have a tourist card, which can usually be purchased from the airline serving Panama while en route. Travelers from other countries should consult with the Panamanian consulate or embassy in that country to obtain the latest information on entry requirements.
