Long Caye Island Resort - Fishing

The fishing at Long Caye Island Resort features a great lineup including tarpon, snook, bonefish and permit.  In addition to these flats species there is also excellent reef fishing for ladyfish, jacks, barracuda and many others all within a 5-minute boat ride from the resort.  As is customary at the main lodge, Long Caye's guides fish long hours, and for those who just can't stop fishing there are several wadeable flats right outside the frontdoor for tailing bonefish and the elusive permit.  In addition, this location is in the heart of tarpon alley with resident baby tarpon around and some of the best tarpon flats found along the entire Belize barrier reef just a short boat ride away.
