When it comes to sight fishing for tarpon with a fly rod, you have the Florida Keys - and then you have everything else. These waters are holy amongst saltwater anglers, and rightfully so. We have always had a deep appreciation of the Florida Keys, but it is no secret that planning a fishing trip to this area can be daunting, with a huge selection of locations to choose from, not to mention guides to pick from, places to stay, places to eat, how to get around, etc.

Bahia Honda Sporting Club is a full-service, all-inclusive, lodge-based fishing experience that removes the guesswork from your Florida Keys tarpon adventure. Located in the lower Keys on a 16-acre estate, the lodge is a luxurious private villa that offers all of the amenities of home, and then some. Guides stay on site, which allows for a customized fishing day that will be scheduled around the very best times and tides, along with your personal preference. The lodge is situated on some prime tarpon water, and great flats are as close as a three minute boat ride away. Back at the lodge, Chef Mike will be preparing a gourmet dinner for your return. A full bar is centrally located and available at all times. Angela, your hostess, will make sure that every aspect of your stay at Bahia Honda is perfect. If you have any special requests, you need only ask.

Guests of Bahia Honda Sporting Club typically take advantage of the many flights into Key West. Because of the short transfer time, you will often have the opportunity to fish a half day upon arrival.
