Costa de Cocos offers world-class scuba diving and snorkeling. Located along the southern reaches of the world famous Palancar Reef (second in size only to the Australia's Great Barrier Reef), the lodge is a diving/snorkeling enthusiast's paradise. Three fully equipped dive boats, each operated by a certified dive master, stand ready to transport large or small groups to a number of magnificent dive sites along the Palancar-where breathtaking coral formations and countless tropical fish species are the norm. Costa de Cocos has several sea kayaks as well, which are at your disposal to explore the expansive flats, channels, and backwaters along the edge of Chetumal Bay. The lodge can also arrange birding expeditions and Mayan ruin/cenote tours.
