There are plenty of places to fish where you can catch small fish until your heart's content . . . Costa Rica is not such a place. From the Caribbean's giant tarpon to the huge sailfish and marlin on the Pacific side, Costa Rica has incredible variety both offshore and inshore -- fish that will rip line off your reel so fast it'll make your head spin. Costa Rica is also an incredibly beautiful and friendly country with outdoor activities galore: zip lining through lush jungle canopies, rappelling giant waterfalls, touring coffee plantations, or cruising up lazy rivers viewing monkeys, parrots, and wildlife so diverse you'll think you're in the world's largest zoo.
