Deer Creek was established in 1978 with a common sense, archery-only management plan. In 1995 one of the nation's first minimum harvest requirements for trophy whitetails was implemented to further enhance the original plan. As a testament to the success of the property's efforts, the average score of all bucks harvested in the new millennium is over 142 inches!
Today, Deer Creek's legendary Hills Region is nationally acclaimed as a premier, archery-only, trophy whitetail operation. Only eight whitetail enthusiasts per hunt will be afforded the exclusive opportunity to hunt these properties. Fewer hunters equal less pressure and less pressure equals more chances at trophy whitetails.
