Gran Chaco Safaris - Overview

Location: Piladelphia, Paraguay.

Season: Mid April through July - Decoyed pigeon morning and afternoon.

This location is one of the premier pigeon shooting locations in South America. The numbers here are very strong and the shooting is consistanly high quality.  For those who take pleasure in decoyed pigeons, this is a top notch destination. 

Hans and Manfred Enns offer their guests some of the best pigeon shooting in the Gran Chaco region of Paraguay. From mid-April through July, Mennonite farmers harvest enormous areas of sesame, sunflower, sorghum and peanut crops. The large agricultural tracts are a natural attraction for millions of pigeon in this one region alone. Year after year the Gran Chaco region has proven itself as an excellent venue for high-volume decoyed and passing pigeon hunts.
