Westervelt Lodge has long been famous for the experience it offers guests as they pursue their best trophies among the white-tailed deer and wild turkeys that roam the lodge's private 10,000 contiguous acres. The property lies along the scenic Tombigbee River in west-central Alabama, where hardwood bottomlands and pine ridges have been a stronghold for quality whitetails and wild turkeys. In operation since 1951, Westervelt rates as some of the finest hunting in the country.
