Located just 35 minutes from Ketchikan, this stunning Lodge property is in a lush rainforest environment on Prince of Wales Island overlooking Thorne Bay. This well-appointed Lodge has earned multiple endorsements for excellence. Fish for saltwater species like halibut, salmon, and rockfish and enjoy the freshwater river species including steelhead, cutthroat trout, and seasonal salmon. Non-fishing activities include glacier tours, whale watching, hiking, and kayaking, just to name a few. Boardwalk is the perfect getaway for the entire family.
No matter your fishing passion, you can find it here. Choose saltwater trips in covered fishing boats for halibut and rockfish or grab the fly rod for freshwater trout and seasonal salmon. Fly or spin fish; it’s your choice. All fishing happens nearby the Lodge keeping travel time to a minimum.
The 26-acre Lodge property offers two guest buildings and can comfortably accommodate up to 19 travelers. Each uniquely styled bedroom suite showcases true Alaska style. Enjoy the privacy of your en-suite bathroom and other creature comforts.
The Lodge provides all fishing and adventure gear for the duration of your trip. If you wish to bring your fishing gear, Frontiers will provide a comprehensive gear list upon booking.
Guests must arrive in Ketchikan. A short, scenic floatplane ride or optional ferry service will have you on the Lodge property ready to start your adventure. Once at the Lodge, you have access to fish 23 lakes, streams, and rivers all in close proximity. Non-fishing activities are plentiful, and the Lodge creates custom itineraries each day based on an individual’s fishing or adventure interests and preferences.
3-night/2-day trips start at $4,495 per person. Stay as long as you’d like. Rate includes round-trip air charter service to/from Ketchikan. Rate excludes airfare to/from Ketchikan, hotel overnights, air charter excursions from Lodge, spa, and gift shop expenses, gratuities, and fishing license.

Alaska is truly one of the last frontiers for purely wild fish. Seasonal prolific runs fill the rivers with large volumes of salmon making their way to their spawning grounds and eager for the fly. The season kicks off in April with wild steelhead fishing in southeast Alaska, followed throughout the summer by various salmon migrations.
