Argentina: A Standard for Sea-Run Brown Trout Worldwide

We are out taking some great photos and will be uploading them very soon.

The sea-run brown trout season ended with a bang in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. The month of March had produced some late-season fish, resulting in some of the best showings. It comes as no surprise that there is already limited availability for the 2024 season at the Kau Tapen and Villa Maria lodges. These two small-lodge operations both offer single rooms for each angler weekly, only accommodating 10 and 6 people respectively. The unwavering Rio Grande consistently produces double-digit fish, setting the standard for sea-run brown trout fishing worldwide. Come pursue the surreal landscape of Argentina full of windswept arroyos, seas of tussock grass, hunched Nires, herds of Guanaco, and the occasional curious South American Grey Fox before availability runs out.
