No lodges, no people and no need to endure lengthy boat rides. The 74’ Hatteras Mothership takes the liveaboard lifestyle to a new level. Fish unpressured waters, eat, drink and sleep in unmatched comfort and style. Key components of this experience are the outstanding crew complete with a professional captain, gourmet chef, guest experience specialist and seasoned local guides who will lead you across the magical southwest Andros seascape. You will fish from modern Beavertail skiffs or by wading. Bonefish and tarpon are the main targets, with permit, muttons, ‘cuda and sharks also in the mix.
Enjoy a prepared breakfast each morning, with flexible fishing start time. Head out on the skiffs to chase bonefish and tarpon. Bones will average three –four lbs. and double digit fish are likely to be spotted daily. Tarpon come in all sizes. Have lunch on the skiff or return to the Mothership.
The 74’ Hatteras accommodates six guests. There are three guest Staterooms. The Master and VIP Staterooms have a king or two twin beds. The Bow Stateroom has two twin beds. There’s a 26’ guest transport boat along with a rigged up 35’ Cabo Sportfisher.
All gear is provided and included in the package costs. If you choose to bring your own, 8 or 9wt fly outfits with tropical floating lines are suggested. A 10 - 11wt for tarpon is ideal. Basic bonefish patterns like the gotcha, clouser and spawning shrimp are great with leaders tapered to 12 lbs.
