There is no other country on the planet that puts on a driven shoot like the UK. At Frontiers we are pleased to be able to offer you some of the finest driven shoots across the country. From grand castles to private country estates we have it all. Our flagship English shoot is nestled in the north Hampshire downs located just one hours drive from west London. This shoot is a regular feature in The Fields top 50 shoots list.
Bird shooting in the UK offers unique opportunities and we have the ability to match your requirements to the shoot of your dreams. If you want to shoot traditional Hampshire Partridge or some Devon back benders, all you have to do is let us know and we will put the plan together.
Shooting should not be about the size of the bag or how well you shot but more importantly about the whole experience. We appreciated the role that good accommodation plays in this. From Medieval castles to quaint country pubs we can organise it all.
Tradition plays an important role in shooting in the UK. The traditional shooting attire is a pair of plus fours or breeks, combined with a shirt and tie. Footwear is normally wellies or walking boots. The dress code is not compulsory but is provided as a guideline.
Arrive at the shooting in the morning around 9 am. Join your fellow guns for a cup of coffee over the welcome and safety speech. Get introduced to your loaders if you have requested them. The will look after you throughout the day. Head out to the shooting first for the first drive of the day. Normally between the first and second drive or the second and third drive you would stop for elevenses. Continue shooting through to lunch. Retire back to the manor house or country pub for lunch. After lunch enjoy the afternoon drives before returning for tea. Say your thanks to the keeper and depart.
