Estancia La Bellaca is located in the midst of the Sierra de Minas hill country. Incredibly secluded, this estancia is one hour from Punta del Este, commonly known as the “Riviera of South America.” The luxury seven-bedroom lodge was completed in 2013 and professionally decorated. The target species is perdiz and pigeon. Perdiz is a sporty upland game bird hunted over trained pointers. Pigeon shoots take place in harvested corn fields or sorghum plantations. Experienced guides constantly scout fields and plantations. The lodge offers a wonderful blend of hunting and luxury vacation.
Perdiz is a world-class upland game bird hunted over well-trained pointers. These birds hold very well even in short sparse cover. Perdiz do not covey and are usually flushed as singles or sometimes pairs. Pigeon hunts take place in harvested corn fields or sorghum plantations over decoys.
The lodge can accommodate a maximum of six hunters. Renowned decorator Carol Raquet fully decorated and landscaped the lodge. The stunning lodge offers great views of the lush countryside and its one-of-a-kind property.
Semi-auto and o/u rental guns from 12–28 ga. are available. Baretta/Benelli are the commonly carried brands. Shells are species-appropriate. Clothing should be light green, green or brown; camouflage is optional. We suggest a recoil reduction device to ease impact of volume shooting.
