These special rivers offer dry fly only, catch and release fishing. All fish you catch are completely wild and live in moderately clear to gin clear water depending on the river. Fishing is done on beats of the river which are private water for the selected day to allow fish to be rested as needed.
A country cottage on the estate makes the perfect home for your trip, teamed with your own chef you will be more than comfortable. Staying on the estate opens up meals by the river for a magical experience. alternatively The Peacock Hotel is also owned by the Estate and can cater for single parties.
Ideal rods are an 8.5 to 9ft 3 and 5 wt, with floating line. There is no wading required but wellington boots may be needed to net your fish. Avoid bright clothing, but a cap, waterproof and polaroid sunglasses are essential. Light leader down to 2lb and fishing mud are advised! Dry fly only.
