There is a strong run of salmon and sea trout with the chance to catch salmon in the 40lb+ class and also large sea trout. Aelva and Horstad Lodge is considered amongst the very best rivers and operations in the country when it comes to catches per angler. You will not find many better rivers or more comfortable lodges for fly fishing for salmon in Norway.
