Ireland is an incredibly beautiful country with warm Irish hospitality, great fisheries and outstanding guides (ghillies). Join Barry & Cathy Beck on the Emerald Isle June 13 – 22, 2024 for six days in the southeast fishing for wild brown trout. This is also an excellent destination for non-anglers with a private driver and coach available to explore the historic towns of Ireland.
Fly into Dublin, arriving on June 14. You will have the opportunity to fish 6 days for wild brown trout on the Rivers Suir, Nire and Tar. All of the rivers are convenient to your accommodation. Most international flights will require you to spend one night in Dublin at the end of the trip.
Stay at The Hotel Minella in Classic rooms overlooking the River Suir. The original Georgian Manor was built in 1863 with the Comeragh Mountains as a backdrop.

Inclusions: Meet and greet airport service, private coach/driver throughout trip, seven nights at Hotel Minella, six days of fishing with Clonanav Fly Fishing with permits and licenses, 1 night at Brooks Hotel Dublin, all meals for fishermen and applicable taxes. Exclusions: Airline transportation, beverages, gratuities, sightseeing entrance fees, tackle purchases and any items of a personal nature. Trip Host
Longtime Frontiers trip host and photographer, Barry travels far and wide to follow his love for fly fishing and nature photography. Based in Pennsylvania, Barry and his late wife Cathy write books, host fly fishing departures, lead African photo safaris, and operate a stock photography business. The Becks are well-known in the fishing, photography, and travel industries, and possess a stellar reputation for their skill, knowledge, and expertise born out of a 30 year career.
Their most recent books include Cathy Beck’s Fly Fishing Handbook, now in its third edition; Fly Waters Near and Far, a coffee table book of photographs, and a soon-to-be-released book on Alaska.
