The Iriri River sets the stage for this awesome and unique program. Anglers can target various species using different angling techniques all in the same run and pools. Kendjam holds the most prolific multi-variety species fishery in the Amazon basin. Most fishing is done via wet wading. While they use local boats for transport, the granite plateau through which the river runs allows the anglers to wade safely and comfortably. The granite base keeps the water gin clear even after rain. Downstream from the lodge, the river begins to braid out creating several smaller fast water streams.
Kendjam offers the first multi-variety Amazon fly fishing destination where anglers can target over eight different species in crystal clear waters. The river system runs over a huge granite base, which facilitates many sight casting opportunities.
The Kendjam Lodge consists of 5 double occupancy wood cabins, each with spring box beds, private bath, hot water, and electric lighting. The lodge sits on a wonderful Sandy beach on a gorgeous pool of the river. Fine cuisine and wines and the lodge has WiFi.
