We are pleased to announce our affiliation with Covered Bridge Outfitters and Lodge, an Orvis-endorsed sporting lodge located in Conneaut, Ohio. It’s long overdue to have a bona fide professional lodging and guide service in the greater Ohio/Pennsylvania/ New York area. Their convenient location, just one hour from Cleveland and close to private airports, offers outstanding fishing and hunting opportunities for all skill levels from couples, friends, and corporate groups. At once convenient and a chance to get away from it all, come enjoy some of the best steelhead fishing in the nation, along with guided hunting for whitetail, turkey, pheasant, and more. This is a true outdoorsman’s destination that offers year-round sporting activities for just about any hunting or fishing desires. 

Lodge & Accommodations 

The lodge sits on 135 private acres of pristine natural land with private access to Conneaut Creek which flows through the property. Their fly-fishing guides have access to private waters nationally recognized for legendary steelhead fishing, both on property and nearby. They offer both float and wade trips on Lake Erie tributaries in OH, PA, and NY.

Their professionally designed luxury lodge provides everything you need when not on the water or on a hunt – comfortable accommodations, great food (private chef), and endless fishing and hunting tales around the creekside fire pit on two miles of private water on Conneaut Creek. The lodge can accommodate up to 6 anglers or hunters at a time in double rooms. They offer overnight sporting packages and day packages as well. All skill levels are welcome!

Steelhead & Fishing

There are two primary runs of Lake Erie Steelhead. Fall run (October-December) and Spring run (January-May). Fall and spring offer differing opportunities and programs but fantastic fishing exists all winter if the weather allows. They take pride in their knowledge base of the local rivers and how Steelhead use them. Their staff is well versed in all techniques used to pursue Steelhead and look forward to sharing some awesome time on the water with our Frontiers guests. They also provide guided trips for Muskies on the fly, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Carp, and just about any fish that swims in local waters.

Turkey & Hunting

Fully guided hunts for whitetail deer (bow & gun), turkey, pheasant, and waterfowl are arranged on and around this stunning property to add to the wonderful fishing opportunities. Looking for a spring gobbler hunt? The spring strut is only a few short weeks away and their guides are out scouting in preparation for a great spring turkey season across NE Ohio and Western PA. Join one of their ORVIS-endorsed guides in the field each day chasing longbeards and then kick your feet up by the fire in the evenings. All hunt packages include 2 days in the field and 2 nights at their recently renovated lodge. Spots are still available but will fill up quickly as we get closer to opening day.
