Optimistic about Argentina

Most can count on one hand the business and friendship relationships they have had last for over 40 years. Well that is exactly what the Fitzgerald family at Frontiers and Jorge Trucco at Patagonia Outfitters have experienced, and it is stronger than ever.  While we have talked almost daily for 18 months, recently Jorge and the crew reached out to us with optimistic news for anglers and shooters looking forward to visiting and fishing south of the equator. Here is their message and Hank Ingram, Ben Hoffman and the Frontiers crew are here and looking forward to discussing updates and future reservations with you.

From the desk of Jorge Trucco and Joaquin Lynch:

Dear Friends,

The Covid pandemic has been a huge challenge for all outfitters, ourselves included, but a “light is appearing at the end of the tunnel” and we can't wait for your return. The government is making strides to define admission to our country and we stand ready to advise the appropriate protocols for entry ensuring a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience for all.

As we have been informed, from September on, the borders with neighboring countries will be gradually opening up until finally, in November, they expect a total opening to the rest of the world. A sign that we are going the right direction is that on 08/24/2021, the government has decreed and reported the opening of the 2021/2022 "Cruise Season" in our country (Argentina) as of 10/20/2021. Therefore, we are waiting for more news regarding our industry in the coming days and we will let you know immediately.

The light is appearing at the end of the tunnel

However, the pandemic has also shown its good side. We have joined with more than 70 colleagues from our industry in a joint struggle to demand from
the government in different ways, the immediate, definitive and total opening of the borders in order to carry out our activity normally. To make it through the last 18 months, Patagonia
Outfitters and Argentina Outfitters took the initiative to reorganize the company to be certain we were able to retain the services of our best employees in getting ready for your return. Sacrifices were made, by many, but we made it through with only minor losses and our facilities, equipment and employees are as good as you have enjoyed in the past.

We are sure that this coming season will be unmatched. Heavy rain (and snow) has come at just the right time so the water levels in rivers and lakes will be ideal as usual. In addition, it is important to mention that the fishing pressure during the past seasons has been extremely low and we are convinced that this coming season will be absolutely unmatched. Among other news there are new lodges, new destinations and scheduled fishing clinics for guests to enjoy.

Finally, we want to let you know again that we are working very hard for this upcoming season. We know better than anyone what our world is going through and that is why, because we think a lot about your peace of mind, we have especially designed a policy for this coming season... we want you to be fully confident when booking your next experience.

Therefore we along with Frontiers are offering RISK FREE BOOKINGS for which we are requesting a 25% only deposit to secure your reservation and dates. This deposit is 100% refundable or allows all booked clients to roll-over their booking to the 2023 season, subject to availability, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Thank you for generous support and unwavering commitment to Patagonia Outfitters,  Argentina Outfitters and Frontiers. We look forward to your return very soon!

We are the same as always ... but better!

Jorge Trucco, Joaquin Lynch & the entire Patagonia Outfitters, Argentina Outfitters and Frontiers team.
