Pheasant Bonanza offers liberated bird hunts for ring neck pheasant and chukar partridge, along with migratory waterfowl hunting for a host of puddle and diving ducks, Canada, specklebelly and snow geese. Turkey and whitetail deer hunts are also available and the success rate is high. Sharpen your shooting eye on the club’s sporting clays, five stand, skeet and trap ranges. Recently opened and new to the Frontiers portfolio, your stay at the recently established lodge will be in complete comfort. Generously sized 400 sq. foot rooms have queen or king size beds and a private bathroom.
Upland hunts take place directly on the club’s property over flat fields and rolling hillsides. Pointing and retrieving dogs are often used together. Waterfowl hunts are done just minutes from the lodge and in close proximity to the Missouri River. Comfortable heated pit blinds are highly effective.
Overlooking the Loess Hills, the lodge features three stories with 15 guest rooms. 12 have two queen beds and three feature one king bed. In terms of amenities, there is a full commercial kitchen, bar, dining room, freestanding fireplace, conference rooms and outdoor seating.
For upland, 12 to 28 gauge shotguns are suggested. 12 Gauge chambered to 3 - 3.5“ for waterfowl. Gun rentals and ammo are available on site but not included in the rate. Clothing is dictated by the time of year. A complete gear list will be provided once a reservation is confirmed.
