Reel Action Alaska Lodge, August 2020

August 6 - 15 2020

Silver Salmon and Trout Fishing the Kanektok River is a Fly Fisherman’s Dream.

Located in the village of Quinhagak, the camp sits within the Togiak National Wildlife Refuge. With over 4 million acres, it is home to some of the most prolific salmon runs in the world and hosts a wide variety of fish, bird, and mammal species. The Kanektok offers all salmon species along with true leopard Rainbow trout, arctic char, grayling, and dolly varden. This remote location offers fishing solitude. The river, its tributaries, and braids give anglers access to some of the best sport fishing in the world. 500,000 fish run past the lodge each year. This is fly fishing only.

Guests will overnight in Anchorage on Thursday. Friday fly to Quinhagak and transfer to camp. Six full days of fishing Saturday-Thursday. Depart the Lodge on Saturday morning flying back to Anchorage via Bethel. Guests can make overnight flights to the lower 48 this evening. Arrive home Sunday.

The lodge offers sturdy, heated "weather port" style tent cabins with wood floors and carpet. Super strong and waterproof, they can handle the weather in Alaska. Each guest has a single tent with padded cot, a high-quality sleeping bag, and plenty of storage room. A drying tent is used for wet gear.

$5,600 per person. Six days and seven nights, Fri-Fri. program. Excludes Alaska Airlines flight from Anchorage to Bethel, Ravn Air flight from Bethel to Quinhagak, fishing license, waders/boots, and gratuities.
