Argentina: Argentina covers an area of over 1.7 million square miles and the wingshooting and sporting diversity is unprecedented. Buenos Aires Province and surrounding regions offer vast potholes and slews ideal for decoying 13 different species of duck. Spread throughout the central and northeast regions, fast holding and hard flushing perdiz haunt the stubble and hedgerows requiring a steady pointer and fast hand. Probably most notable in the country are the passing doves and decoyed pigeons that can be found in vast numbers throughout the northern provinces in both flat rolling and mountainous country. For the big game hunters, free-range stag populates Rio Negro, La Pampa, and Mendoza provinces along the western border in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. Populations of Black Buck and wild boar populate many of the regions, complementing a big game or wingshooting excursion. It's an understatement to say the country is diverse -- it truly is a sportsman's paradise!

Uruguay: Often overlooked as a hunting destination, Uruguay is a progressive, stable, safe, and culturally sophisticated country. Uruguay is famous for its fine pointing dogs and watching these well-trained dogs work is a thing of beauty. Savor the warm and elegant hospitality in sophisticated lodging while hunting for Pigeon, Perdiz, and eared Dove. Add a side trip to Colonia, which is the only cultural site in Uruguay to have attained UNESCO World Heritage status. Colonia is the second-oldest city in Uruguay, founded by the Portuguese in 1680. The fine white sands of Seré Beach are one of the cities most beautiful features.
