Warriors & Quiet Waters (WQW) empowers post-9/11 combat veterans and their loved ones to thrive and live purpose-driven lives through peak experiences in nature, meaningful relationships, and a sense of community. Headquartered in Bozeman, Montana, WQW serves hundreds of veterans from across the nation each year.
WQW exists because there is a critical need. Of the 2 million post-9/11 combat veterans, 48% found the transition out of the military extremely challenging. Sadly, our veterans have a 72% higher risk of suicide than those who haven't served. Even veterans who seem like they're thriving on the surface might feel hollow and stuck inside. In each of these cases, WQW sees a person who was Built for More.
WQW's Built for More program is a 9-month long in-person and virtual high-touch program that ensures post-9/11 combat veterans address their physical, spiritual, social, and mental well-being, empowering them to reconcile their past, build strength and resiliency in the present, and envision a purpose-driven and meaningful future.
