The Bahamas – Delphi Club – Early Season Success at Delphi Club, Bahamas

Hear What Our Own Clients Have to Say About Their Most Recent Fishing Experience

The Bahamas are open for business and from all accounts, the bonefishing has been incredible. We’ve recently had a handful of groups return from Andros and Abaco Islands and the reports are highly encouraging. A common theme among these parties is that bonefish populations are abundant as ever, the average size bonefish is larger than previous trips, and the lack of angling pressure has made them perhaps a little easier to catch! Lodge personnel are excited to welcome back guests and guides are thankful and enthusiastic to be back on the water once again.

In addition to the positive feedback Frontiers has recently received, we wanted to share further evidence from one of our favorite lodges, the Delphi Club on Abaco Island.

"We've had a great start to the season here in Abaco and the fishing has been superb to say the least! One boat had over 60 fish landed last week, some pushing into the 7 and 8-pound range! We've also had some great shots at permit with one hooked but sadly lost. Check out these testimonials from some of our guests who had a seamless experience traveling here during COVID and Bahamian protocols." - The Delphi Club

"Just returned from Delphi and wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time. The weather, food, fishing and staff were terrific. The lodge looks great and we were very impressed with the precautions taken to deal with the present scourge. We had no trouble complying with the current requirements to travel to the Bahamas and the in house, 4-day test was made easy before breakfast. My compliments on providing a safe and relaxing fishing experience for us."

"Thank you and the entire Delphi staff for a truly exceptional experience in the Abacos! To only say that we enjoyed the high-quality accommodations and staff, the delicious food, and the magnificent beauty of your property would be a great understatement. When we add in the friendly and very capable fishing guides and the great fun of catching fish on a fly rod, it was absolutely one of the best travel adventures that my companions and I have ever enjoyed. On our last day of fishing my brother and I saw literally hundreds of bonefish! Initially, we had concerns that the Covid situation would make travel to your location something of a challenge, but that was certainly not the case. We flew from Orlando Sanford airport on an Air Unlimited semi-private 8 seat King Air [$750 round trip per person, ~$100 more than commercial] directly into Marsh Harbor with a total flight time of only about an hour and 15 minutes. On the return flight, our pilot personally walked us through the fastest customs clearing process that I’ve ever seen and we were quickly on our way toward home. No lines to wait in, no wasted time, just a very smooth process. We have already had discussions about our next trip to Delphi and look forward to enjoying your hospitality another time!"
