At the Santa Candida Palace, guests will relish an unparalleled high-volume dove shooting experience, located just 2.5 hrs. from Buenos Aires. This 22,000 square foot French colonial palace on the banks of the Uruguay River, boasts 8 double bedrooms with private bathrooms, a spacious living/dining room, galleria, and an outdoor dining area. Argentina Outfitters ensures that guests enjoy great lodging, impeccable service, gourmet cuisine, and a team of skilled lodge staff and guides. Drive times are between 10-35 minutes seasonally while hunting at this historically rich and unique estate.
The shooting area has an abundance of grain production, freshwater creeks, and streams, dotted with thickly wooded roosting areas. This abundant food and cover have created an incredible population of doves numbered in the millions. Hunt established flight paths, watering holes, and grain fields.
This is truly a palatial estate. Santa Candida offers 8 private bedrooms, each with a distinct identity keeping within the spirit of 19th century decor. Due to the size of this special lodge, it is perfect for larger groups. Non shooting activities include massages, laundry service available.
At Santa Candida guests may rent guns from a selection of fine over-and-under and semi-automatic shotguns. These include models from Beretta, Benelli, and Browning in various gauges. Shells are provided by the lodge and can be paid for onsite.
Upon arrival at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, an Argentina Outfitters representative will greet your group. They will then escort you to the transfer van for a journey north to Santa Candida, which is approximately a 3-hour drive. Depending on flight schedules, guests typically have a high-volume dove shooting upon arrival. Throughout your stay, you'll enjoy morning and evening shoots followed by ground transfers back to Buenos Aires on your final day after a morning dove shoot. Each evening, return to Santa Candida for dinner, drinks, and overnight accommodations.
