Togiak River Lodge is in Northern Bristol Bay, 350 Miles SW of Anchorage, and 60 miles west of Dillingham. The stylish lodge is a hidden gem nestled on the edge of the Togiak National Wildlife Refuge. The Togiak River Lodge is the only full-service permanent wood lodge on the entire Togiak River system. Their remote location allows the ability to share the best Salmon and trout fishing that Alaska has to offer and amazing accommodations at their remote fishing lodge. All guided trips include fish processing, fishing gear, roundtrip airfare from Anchorage, food, lodging, and amenities.
Anglers travel to Togiak River Lodge for the great King and Silver Salmon fishing, and trophy rainbows. Fly and spin anglers both welcome. The Silver Salmon run begins in Early August and runs well into September. If you’re looking to escape crowds and get away from other lodges, this is the place.
Guests will stay in a heated double occupancy wood cabin that with private bath. An elevated porch looks over the river and mountains. The cabins are ideal for couples, and the larger cabins can sleep 4. The main lodge has a dining room, TV and lounge area, drying room for gear, and full kitchen.
Fly: 9/10 wt. single or spey rods for kings and 6/7 wt. rods for coho and trout. Conventional: 7-8 ft. medium-action (silvers, chums, sockeye) 10/15 lb. line, 7-8 ft. medium/heavy (king salmon) 15/25 lb. line. Fishing equipment and tackle is available by request.
Arrive Anchorage the day before your trip for a hotel overnight. The following morning, guests will take a private charter that flies directly from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport to the village of Togiak. The 90-minute charter flight allows guests to arrive to the lodge early, and fish the day of arrival. The lodge is a 15 min. boat run from village. Upon arrival, staff will take guest luggage to their cabins, guests will be fed and on the water for a full day of fishing. On your departure day, Togiak River Lodge guests will arrive back to Anchorage around noon weather permitting.
The Lodge offers select 3, 4, and 5-day fishing programs throughout the season.
