Secure Lodge is the newest dorado program hosting six fly fishing guests per week and also has the option of a shorter four day fishing program for those with limited travel time. Located within the rugged Indian territory of Bolivia, you will fish the Secure River and its tributaries offering varied types of waters during your stay. Their well-planned rotation has anglers on new water every day so you not only experience this virgin mountainous rainforest, but also fish a range of waters that are home to amazing species including dorado, pirapitinga, catfish and yatorana.
Guests have the option to fish four or six full days on distinct sections of the Secure River and its tributaries. This program is also designed for guests with limited travel time. The short program will be offered starting July 20.
The Secure Lodge experience is based from one comfortable jungle lodge. They offer safari-style double occupancy tent cabins on elevated wooden platforms. Each tent offers spring beds, private bathrooms with flush toilets, hot water and electric light.
As a general rule, 7 to 9 weight rods rigged with tropical grade floating / sinking lines. Wet wading is the standard. A complete list of gear will be sent upon trip confirmation. Frontiers can provide expert advice on finding the right gear for your trip.
Secure Lodge is best accessed from Miami, Florida, via American Airlines. Guests will fly into Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Included are two overnights at the Los Tajibos Hotel and guided fishing during your chosen length of stay. A tourist visa is required for U.S. citizens that is valid for ten years and can be secured for USD $160 at the airport in Santa Cruz upon arrival. The lodge generator and battery system offer 110/220 power. It is necessary to bring a converter for your electrical devices. 99% of the fishing is done by wet wading or fishing from the banks of the rivers. Temps: 65º F to 95º

7 nights / 6 days fishing: $5,380 pp. 5 nights / 4 days: $4,550 pp. Inclusions: All meals and double accommodations, roundtrip charter flights, two hotel nights and guided fishing. Exclusions: Commercial air, Indian land use fees and Bolivia Visa.
