Blue Mountain B&B is located in Lolo and offers their guests a hearty breakfast to start the day’s activities, from fishing with a veteran guide on several nearby blue-ribbon rivers, horseback riding, play a round of golf on several signature courses in the area, or enjoy touring the scenic area surrounding Missoula. With intact groups of four or more, the lodge can offer inclusive packages, which include home-cooked delicious meals. Guests can relax the great room where they can watch a movie from a large selection of DVD’s, play a game of pool or reminisce about the day’s adventure!
Blackfoot River Outfitters is a family-run business located in the heart of trout fishing paradise. Owners John Herzer and Terri Raugland are experienced outfitters who have worked the waters of western Montana for more than 20 years, guiding over 400 river miles within an hour's drive of Missoula.
Blue Mountain B&B offers four uniquely western theme suites. Each private guest room looks out over the gardens, forest, surrounding mountains and the Lolo Valley. Each suite is furnished with a beautifully crafted, king or queen-sized bed with down comforter and fine linens and private bathroom.
Blackfoot River Outfitters has a complete fly shop in Missoula where you can purchase your fishing licenses and any tackle required. Frontiers recommends four to six weight rods (depending on the streams you’re fishing) with floating lines. Bring quality rain gear, polarized sunglasses and a hat.
Fishing packages range from three to six nights. For parties of four to eight, both breakfast, appetizers and dinner is included, as well as shore lunch. The closest commercial airport is Missoula (approx. 30 minute drive), which is serviced by Delta, Alaska / Horizon and United. Complimentary airport shuttles are offered. If you want to stay longer, fish less, sightsee more, go visit Glacier National Park, horseback ride, play golf or just enjoy the day hanging out at the lodge, please let us know. We can customize a trip specifically for you. Nonanglers are welcomed!
