Missouri Cliffs Lodge sits high above the canyon stretch of the “Mighty Mo”. The latest offering in the Montana Angler group, “Mo Cliffs” provides an inclusive, luxury lodge experience to complement their outstanding fishing program. As a guest at Mo Cliffs, you will enjoy the hospitality of the lodge hosts Rich and Thierry, and savor the culinary creations of Chef Richard. With 5 guest rooms and a maximum capacity of 10 anglers, the lodge is a great option for intact groups and can be booked exclusively when space allows.
This is a large tailwater, accessed primarily by drift boat, although opportunities exist for getting out of the boat. The Mo provides dense populations of rainbows and browns, and heavy hatches to tempt them to the surface. Chances at truly large fish exist here.
The lodge offers 5 guest rooms, each with 2 beds, private bath, and walk out deck. The common areas include the dining room with spectacular views, the large great room, and the saloon room where guests can enjoy the full open bar.
On the Missouri, we like 4- to 6-wt. rods (depending on fishing dries vs. nymph rigs) with floating lines. The lodge can provide rods, reels, waders, and boots. Be sure to bring quality raingear, polarized sunglasses, and a hat for sun protection. Dress in layers!
Missouri Cliffs operates May – October with no set arrival or departure days. The closest airports are Great Falls (40m) and Helena (50m), but Bozeman is also an option (139m). Rental vehicles are strongly suggested, as the lodge doesn’t provide transfers. Third party transfer service can be arranged at additional costs. Package rate includes lodging, all meals and beverages, guided fishing, and loaner gear including rods, reels, waders, and boots. Single occupancy rooms and private guides may be available on request.
