Frontiers will provide a thorough list of what to pack. We recommend 4- or 6-wt. rods (depending on the streams and rivers you are fishing) with floating lines. Be sure to bring quality raingear, polarized sunglasses, waders, and a hat for protection. The Lodge has a fly shop on site.
You'll fly to Bozeman and rent a vehicle to access Yellowstone Valley Lodge (one-hour drive). The Lodge is approximately 15 miles south of Livingston. The Lodge can provide ground transportation (at an additional cost) if you prefer not to drive. Typically, guests book a 4–6 night inclusive package. The knowledgeable guides will show you the most productive waters during your stay. Rental equipment is available. You can also use the Lodge as a basecamp for your own western adventure! Yellowstone National Park is a short one-hour drive from the Lodge.
