This trip combines the best elements of exciting wingshooting with the refinements of fine living in a Tuscan-like vineyard nestled among the rolling hills of Uruguay. Days are filled with fastpaced-almost chaotic volume dove shooting, and midday breaks feature fresh lunches and sips from the vineyard, served al fresco under a warm winter sun. The scent of wildflowers, fruit trees, and barbecues over glowing coals fill the clean air. This is the perfect holiday for couples or a family that wants to enjoy great shooting and fine living in the friendliest little country in South America.
Shoot doves in the rolling slopes and vineyards of this rich wine producing area, with flights of birds that rival any population you’ll see anywhere in S. America. Most of the best shooting locations are within a 30-minute drive. Some are just 15 minutes away, so little time is lost traveling.
Carmelo Lodge is perfect for groups or couples wishing to enjoy great shooting and fine living in a stunning location surrounded by vineyards. The lodge has 10 well-appointed en suite rooms, with queen and king beds. Lodge’s facilities include a pool, hot tub, game room with bar.

Private charters available from either airport which land just 5 minutes away from the lodge. Ground Most days you will return to the lodge for lunch and siesta. However, many shooters wish to stay a full day in the field with a tented lunch and naps in the cool shade. As you wish. There are many large dove roosts on the property.
