This aristocratic estancia nestled between Bariloche and San Martin is renowned for elegant old-world accommodations and hospitality. Coursing through the moonscaped canyon, the crystal-clear Traful River teems with large brown and rainbow trout sipping insects from the glassy surface. These fish originate from both river and lake.
A crystal-clear mid-sized freestone, the Traful courses from Lago Traful to the Limay River. The river presents large local rainbows and browns, migratory trout, and landlocked salmon. Prolific hatches and ample terrestrials make this stream ideal for New Zealand-type stalk fishing for trophy trout.
This grand wood and stone house with elegant out-buildings is perched in a meadow gazing downvalley. It accommodates up to 10 guests in cozy rooms with a European flair. Manicured gardens, festive Asados, and sun-drenched common areas coax fishers and non-fishers alike.

The Lariviere family offers a fine stable of horses available to equestrians. Bariloche is nearby for shopping and sightseeing. Hiking the surrounding hills is exhilarating.
Approximately 1.5 hours from Bariloche’s airport in the Nahuel Huapi National Park, Arroyo Verde is conveniently located for a combined trip to another Estancia or a visit to regional resorts, which is common for anglers visiting Patagonia.
