• Simply put, the Sandy River is the most productive steelhead system we represent. This is an exclusive venue with relatively little pressure and only a limited number of rods available each season. The guides here are some of the industry’s best when it comes to swinging flies for anadromous fish. The remote feel here is unmatched in all of Alaska. The environment is truly unique with snow-capped volcanoes, few trees, and a river that is easy to wade and fish. This small venue lodge sits about 10 miles upstream from the Bering Sea on the remote Alaska Peninsula. Anglers who are keen on swinging flies for sea-bright steelhead, especially with switch or spey rods, will love this destination. The lodge coordinates a round-trip charter flight between Anchorage and the lodge and back.
