Smallmouth Bass & More in Southern Virginia

Wesley Hodges Fly Fishing and Wingshooting, located in southern Virginia, have a passion for their home waters and the mountainsides surrounding them. Wes and his team have been around, so to speak, and have ultimately arrived on the banks of the James River to share their love for the region and all it has to offer.  The main draw for anglers is the large numbers and quality size of the wild and native smallmouth bass. These fish seem to always be looking up for a well-presented popper, and the aggressive takes and hard fights will win over the most devout trout anglers.  Time off the water is equally enjoyable, with thoughtfully prepared meals and fully inclusive accommodations in the restored farmhouse-turned-lodge.
